Cake Chef

Sue Boekbinder is known internationally as an award winning chef. Sue established herself over 18 years ago specialising in Wedding Cakes & Sugar Flower design.

Having competed and won two consecutive Melbourne Show competitions in 2007 and 2008, Sue has truly made her mark in the Australian food industry.

While starting cake design early in her career with a  GOLD MEDAL title  at the prestigious Salon Culinaire cooking championships in Birmingham, England, Sue then worked in some of England’s top Restaurants before gracing our shores here in Melbourne back in 2006, bringing her impressive credentials and joining our team here at Delightful Occasions in May 2008.

MEET THE CHEF:

Sue visits our boutique on Wednesday evenings after 5pm for a meet and greet, if we are lucky enough she also brings with her yummy cake for sampling (please call ahead to secure a time to ensure you don’t miss out).
